By accessing or using the USCSA Southwest Conference website (uscsa-southwest.org) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Description of Services
USCSA Southwest Conference provides the following services:
- Event registration and management for collegiate ski and snowboard competitions
- Athlete, team, and coach portal for managing participation
- Competition results, rankings, and standings
- Event schedules and notifications
- Communication tools including email and SMS notifications
Account Registration
To access certain features of our services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update your information if it changes
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
SMS/Text Message Terms
By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from USCSA Southwest Conference. These messages may include:
- Account verification codes
- Event registration confirmations
- Race day reminders and schedule changes
- Competition results notifications
- Safety and weather alerts
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your event participation and account activity.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your notification preferences in your account settings. For help, reply HELP or contact info@uscsasouthwest.com.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the services for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts or systems
- Upload viruses or other malicious code

Eligibility Requirements
To participate in USCSA Southwest Conference competitions as an athlete:
- You must be a currently enrolled student at an eligible institution
- You must be registered with USCSA National through SportsEngine
- You must meet all eligibility requirements set by USCSA National
- You must comply with all competition rules and safety requirements

Intellectual Property
The content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by or licensed to USCSA Southwest Conference and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the services is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, USCSA Southwest Conference shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the services.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in skiing and snowboarding activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. By participating in USCSA Southwest Conference events, you acknowledge and accept these risks. All participants must sign required waivers and releases as part of the USCSA National registration process.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USCSA Southwest Conference, its officers, directors, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Termination
